To inculcate the spirit of patriotism among the students on the auspicious occasion of Amrit Mahotsav being celebrated across the country on the commomeration of 75 years of Independence, BVM(USN) organised a spectacular Inter Branch Patriotic Group Song competition in which four teams from four different branches of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir participated zealously . The event was graced with a benign presence of the esteemed members of the BVM Trust Sh. PC Goyal ji (Secretary), Sh Manoj Gupta ji (Treasurer), Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal , Mrs Neelam Mittar (Principal KN) & the jury members - Mrs Amarpreet Kaur (BCM Basant city) , Mrs Karnika Sharma (KVM). The event commenced with lighting the ceremonial lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana. The whole atmosphere reverberated with a feeling of nationalism .
The competitors presented a variety of songs and made the whole atmosphere melodious. The synchronization of the melodious voices and the instruments was heart-warming.
All the young maestros sang to their level best and made the competition a great success. The performances were greeted with a loud round of applause. Each one of them sang with immense zeal, evoking the feeling of patriotism and gave a cut throat competition.
BVM Udham Singh clinched First position, BVM Kitchlu Nagar grabbed Second position, BVM Dugri bagged Third position followed by the consolation prize by BVM Chd. Road .
Sh. PC Goyal ji lauded the rigrous performance by students which kept the flame of patriotism alive. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal proposed the vote of thanks & congratulated the winner teams . The event culminated with Vande Matram.
